Welcome! We are so glad you are here!
I am so excited you have chosen to seek me out to watch your child. My name is Kristen Rowley and I am the owner of Kati’s Klubhouse. This website will tell you more about me, what I do, what Kati’s Klubhouse is all about, and the housekeeping issues and nitty gritty of in home daycare.
First of all, let me introduce myself. I am the oldest of three children, married to my wonderful husband, and I have a beautiful daughter named Kati!
I have been doing childcare for 10 years, and have experience working in almost all types of childcare settings. I started as an employee in a small in home daycare. I have since been a nanny for three families, worked as the lead toddler teacher in a large center, worked with school aged children doing before and after school care, worked at a summer camp, and I just finished a position as the nursery director at a large church. I truly enjoy working with kids. It is what I was created to do.
My husband, Keith, is a freelance IT consultant who also works from home. You will probably see him almost every day. On weekdays he drives buses for Durham School Services. He is gone in the early morning and in the afternoon. On days that I am sick my husband will substitute for me. He is great with kids, and your child will be familiar with him.
Our daughter, Kati, was born May 13th, 2008. She is the light of our lives, and will be a permanent fixture here at Kati’s Klubhouse!
We have two dogs named Judah and Dinah. They are both still pretty young, and tend to be excitable, but once you get to know them they are very mellow. While your child is here the dogs will have access to the play areas, however, they will get frequent “time outs” in their crates or outside.
